Automatic 7's midtempo punk is reminiscent of early Social Distortion mixed with adolescent Jawbreaker, though the band puts a stronger emphasis on its punk roots than Social Distortion. With a distinctly Southern-California twist to its sound, Automatic 7's attack makes many of its contemporaries look like ameteurs.
