Fans of Rage Against the Machine's sound as well as its politics will find common ground in the music of Aztlan Underground. A furious mix of rock and hip hop, though one that still keeps its metal from spilling over into its rap side, as well as a strong vision of Latino nationalism gives Aztlan Underground a powerful attack on the status quo. While the band's never as slick as Rage's politics or sound, it's still one of the few bands following the revolutionary spirit of the Machine.

Aztlan Underground's fire was tapped by Rage to open its Mexico City shows that were later used in the Battle of Mexico City live video.
