>> Delgados

Mixing breezy indie pop with classical orchestration, the Delgados manage to give their style, similar to that of Belle and Sebastain, a deceptively powerful air. Never throwing in with fully orchestrated works, the band's songs use the power of string and brass arrangements without abusing them.
In addition to the band's musical output, it would found Chemikal Underground Records, one of the UK's most prolific startup indies, giving a home to such successful acts as Mogwai and Arab Strap.
