Sticking to ideals of utter annoyance left behind by the bulk of the punk movement by the late ‘80s, Goober Patrol is a bar band that somehow weaseled its way into the music industry. Sporting thick cockney accents and repetitive and scraping lyrics, Goober Patrol is a band in the tradition of the Damned, for fans more concerned with theatrics than the more socially relevant aspects of punk.
