Paul Simonon's post-Clash outfit puts an emphasis on the rebel rock sounds of '50s rockabilly, though also pulls liberally from Latin sounds, with a spicy brass section punctuating many songs. After the death of singer Nigel Dixon, Simonon would quit the band, which would then be helmed by guitarist/singer Gary Myrick. Myrick's version of the band would prove to be more commercially oriented than its previous incarnation.
