Riding the coattails of punk godfathers the Ramones, Marky Ramone and the Intruders seek to fill the niche left by the dissolution of the Ramones. With a guitar and drum style unsurprisingly similar to the Ramones, the Intruders do little to test new waters musically, though the band’s bass arrangements are much more energetic than the Ramones, sitting closer to classic ALL and Descendents bass lines than ones produced by the seminal New York punks.
