With a sound that draws heavily upon the groundwork laid out by Nirvana, the guitar/drums lineup of Local H managed to make as much noise as a five-piece grunge band. While the act scored a radio hit with "Bound for the Floor" in 1996, widespread mainstream success would allude the duo. Singer/guitarist Scott Lucas replaced original drummer Joe Daniels with Brian St. Clair by 2001, which gave the duo even heavier sound.
