Murder City Devils
Emerging as a no-holds-barred rock'n'roll outfit in the '90s, the Murder City Devils would work their loud, unabashedly aggro rock sound for years, dropping two albums and criss-crossing the nation on tours. By 2000, though, the band would break slightly from the junk rock crowd, featuring darker, slower and more ominious sounds alluding to both garage and Gothic styles.
