Written with the same feel as his Buzzcocks songs, Shelley’s solo projects feature programming and keyboards instead of driving guitars, though feature Shelley’s trademark whining delivery. Lacking the universality of Buzzcocks work, Shelley’s solo songs now sound more dated than anything else.
