Rancid front man Tim Armstrong's worn many different hats over the course of his musical career, guitarist, front man, producer, songwriter-for-hire, but it wasn't until 2007 that he emerged with his first solo effort. Drawing heavily on his love for ska and rocksteady, Armstrong's solo work shows an adventursome side not obvious in Rancid's later-years material.
