>> Varukers

Formed in 1979, The Varukers were one of the British realpunk movements offspring. Loud, blazing guitars and politicized lyrics give the band a feel similar to The Exploited or Conflict.

Though the band -- which is a rotating cast of musicians behind singer Rat -- broke up in the mid '80s, it reformed for the second punk explosion of the late '90s.
