Robert Pollard's Art Set for Show

While Robert Pollard's best known for being in that one band Guided By Voices, he's also known to cut things out of magazines and paste them to other things.
Pollard's collage art gets a gallery show, dubbed "The Public Hi-Fi Baloon" Aug. 27 and 28 at New York's The 45 Space. The show, which features about 60 pieces of Pollard's cut-and-paste contributions to the visual art world, is hosted by Vanity Fair's Michael Hogan, so you can rest assured that it's going to be unbearably trendy.
If listening to things is more your cup of tea than looking at stuff is, good news: Pollard and the rest of the Bee Thousand Guided By Voices are reuniting for a fall tour.
