In honor of what would be John Lennon's 70th birthday, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will seal up a time capsule that won't be opened until the Beatle would be turning 100.
The Rock Hall will close up Lennon's entire post-Beatles catalog in a time capsule Oct. 9, and won't let anyone crack the seal until 2040. You know, because those albums will be forgotten relics of the past in another 30 yeas or something. The museum will also solicit messages from fans expressing Lennon's love of peace and love through a website. If we're lucky, the Beatles catalog may just be coming to digital formats by the time they open this time capsule up.
